After over 100 years of tradition, the Nossack family immigrated from Germany to Red Deer, where Karsten Nossack followed in his father and grandfather’s footprints to become a Master Butcher & Sausage Maker.
Now, the Nossack Food Group supplies food service and retail distributors coast-to-coast with a variety of quality products from three local facilities, continuing the tradition.
Owners Karsten and Ingrid Nossack are proud of their heritage and preserve it through their quality products.
They strive to purchase locally as much as possible, and make an effort to amplify the community where they can.
“This is our home, not just our family and company, but our employees as well. We have been fortunate in our lives and feel responsible for sharing with the people around us. We believe strongly in supporting local and we are lucky to have employees who believe this, as our community has supported us over the years,” Ingrid explains.
Nossack Food Group has ran fundraising programs throughout Central Alberta for over 25 years!
The Nossack Athletic Ambassador Grant supports local athletes, while the Golden Fundraising Platform assists community groups, schools and sports teams.
They’ve supported the community over the years by sponsoring local events and organizations like the 2019 Canada Winter Games, Westerner Days, and Ronald McDonald House, along with local food banks, soup kitchens and lunch outreach programs.
“There are many ways to give back, and we help where we can,” says Ingrid.
Nossack Food Groups mission is to create quality food and honest relationships with Canadians, for Canadians, while supporting local!
