The Tea Dance is not a traditional dance to this territory but the Red Deer Native Friendship Society is pleased that John Crier, an elder, has agreed to carry out this ceremony for the Red Deer Community.  This evening will take place January 27 from 4:30-11pm at Festival Hall (4214 58th Street).  The evening will include an Urban Aboriginal Voices presentation at 4:30pm, a feast beginning at 6pm, giveaways, and a tea dance to follow.  For more info call Pam at 403 340 0020.
